After working in the beauty and education industry for 7 years, Kate noticed the huge lack of affordable yet good quality makeup brushes. Beauty students were having to pay upto £35 per brush to get the essential quality they needed to achieve a great makeover. Collecting  a professional set was literally taking years, not to mention the strain of essential recourses that would have been utilised more effectively elsewhere.

Pro Makeup Brushes worked in partnership with professional makeup artists until the brushes and applicators were perfected; it took two years in design but the results were outstanding.

The new business launched in 2007 supplying individual brushes and professional brush kits through colleges, beauty salons and online. Beauty professionals sang high praises and compared the quality to that of exceptional cosmetics company, MAC. 

With positive  reputation spreading like wildfire, PMB have been  regularly contacted by high profile UK companies such as Elizabeth Arden, looking to have brushes customised to the same high standards and understandably, demanded nothing short of perfection. Enquiries from Italy, Dubai and the USA showing that good news does travel far and fast!
