To create this really effective look is easy when you know how especially when you have the right tools for the job! Visit this page if you need help with brushes.

Throughout this look, lets not dwell too much on choosing products and makeup but choose colours carefully before starting your makeover .

Base

Choose a foundation to compliment the skin tone and keep concealer one or two shades lighter than the foundation. A neutral loose powder will complete your base. For more advanced finish, use a powder similar in tone to your foundation and a lighter powder for around the eyes and near the jaw-line: basically where you will apply concealer.

Eyes

To keep it simple, we will start with 3 key colours of eye shadow: base (pale), warm background (mid tone) and strength (darkest). Remove the lids from your colours and if they look good together , they'll look even better on your eye!! Simple...

Blusher and lip gloss to compliment and complete your palette and you're ready to go.

Its also useful to get a stock of cotton buds and wet wipes in case of mishaps and for wiping down brushes as you go along.

Step One:

Foundation: apply a small amount of foundation to the back of your hand and using your fingertips, start from the nose, work down and out avoiding hairlines and eyebrows. Use small amount at a time keeps the product under control and it is easier to add more than take away! Don't pull the product down the neck. This creates an unnatural finish which we want to avoid!

Next step: the concealer...
