Create this amazing look in only a few steps and four colours. Blue glitter is used here but let your imagination run wild.

A good tip when working with dark colours is to put extra loose powder under the eye and on the cheek bone to catch the falling darker colour. At the end of your make over, dust down the excess powder to reveal a flawless base. Or you could place a tissue under the eye as you're working like a painters dust sheet!

After applying your base foundation, concealer and loose powder work on the eye brow. Make sure that you have taken the concealer, foundation and powder across the eye as this will provide an invaluable base. You can also use an eye 'primer' but I tend to find them quite expensive and when using our 3 steps, its works just as well if not better! Make the eye brow very strong using a shade that is darker than your natural colour. On a 'naked' face, this step will look quite scary but once you you completed, it will all pull together.

With brush No.4, a pale and light reflective eye shadow cover the whole eye area right up to the brow and down to the lash. Concentrate under the brow as this area will catch the light instantly.

Using  brush No.5 and with a translucent eye-shadow (seen here in a lilac shade), draw a large 'V' at the outer corner copying the shape of the corner.

Use a good black eye shadow and brush No. 7, very carefully cover the eye ball finishing the black neatly at the inner corner. Carry the black round to the lower lash using No.8, again, working neatly and close to the lash.

For the next step using glitter you can either use a glitter gel or loose glitter. For gel glitter, use brush No.15 or No.8, and press where you want the colour to go.  Make sure you are happy with the rest of he eye before moving on to the glitter. Make sure you take under the eye and go along as far as you wish! This is a statement look so you can be as experimental as you wish.

A very similar process if you are using loose glitter except you need something to 'glue' the glitter on to. Apply a thin layer of Vaseline or similar where you want to place the colour with brush No.15 or No.8, then apply your glitter with the same brush using the pressing method.

Apply mascara then if you wish, individual lashes. When applying false eye lashes it is better to apply once mascara is on, especially if you have fine lashes. Hold the lash with tweezers then dip the end in to the glue and place on the lash line. Keep your eye closed for as long as you can and don't use too much glue. Use larger ones at the outer edges and smaller ones nearer the inner corners.

For a stronger eye, use a black kohl all around the outer lash line and the inner.

How did you get on?
